Yap Catholic High School (YCHS) is a rigorous college preparatory institution for grades 9-12, dedicated to serving young men and women from the state of Yap in the Federated States of Micronesia. Since opening its doors in September 2011 with just thirty-five students, YCHS has grown into a small, safe, and faith-based community. Our mission is to nurture the minds, hearts, souls, and characters of our students, guiding them to become individuals who serve others.

 

Currently, YCHS educates 103 students from Yap Proper and the Neighboring Islands. Our goal is to help students develop their God-given talents and use them in service to others. We encourage our students to strive for personal growth and embrace challenges as they work towards becoming the best versions of themselves.

 

Located on a newly-developed, twenty-two acre rural campus in the village of Lamer, Rull on the island of Yap, YCHS provides an environment conducive to learning and personal development.
