Chris Lowney, a one-time Jesuit seminarian, currently chairs the board of CommonSpirit Health, America's largest non-profit healthcare system, with 140 hospitals and 150,000 employees. Previously, Chris served as a Managing Director of the investment banking firm J.P. Morgan & Co. in Tokyo, Singapore, London, and New York. He has authored six books, including the bestselling Heroic Leadership, which has been translated into eleven languages. His other works include Pope Francis: Why He Leads the Way He Leads.
Born in New York City, Chris hates the Yankees and is a long-suffering Mets fan. He is a graduate of Fordham University and holds nine honorary doctoral degrees, though, he adds, lacks the chops to earn one the old-fashioned way.
